Behavior Chart

I got this idea off pinterest and I absolutely loved it...and so did my principals ;) Other teachers even asked me to make them one.


Originally I had 7 options, but as time went by I realized it was too much and I wasn't being as consistent as I wanted to. I modified it to 5 options and had students move their own pin, which made them responsible and accountable and more aware of their behavior.

So the new chart worked perfect for me!

You can cut the edges, glue on construction paper and laminate. Then punch wholes and add rings. That is what I did. The color scheme is of your choice.

Science Journals

Science journaling is vital for the students to gain a through understanding of the subject.
I am excited to my ss started on their journals and to follow through by journaling for each topic.
To start off I have made a table of contents for the first 2 units and a safety contract.
I recommend you create your own table of contents according to your curriculum planning guides and safety contract according to your school/district policies.

The Five Senses/ Mis cinco sentidos

The beginning of school year is 1 month away for me... LITERALLY!

I am so excited. I have been attending a science training and have started planning my lesson activities.
